This was the first commercially available radio controlled watch, served by the atomic clock in Frankfurt, Germany, which sends signals every 20 minutes, making this watch accurate to a second every million years-oh yes, it's true!!
The watch will pick up the signals all over the UK and Europe but not in the rest of the world where it will work only as a normal LCD watch.
This is a stunning piece, superb design by the British company Frog Designs, all anti- allergic materials, beautifully put together and very wearable... Junghans original box and a copy of the papers included...
I would call this New Old Stock but there is one VERY light mark on the crystal, just below the 'M' in the pictures, but then is ahs its box and papers and is £50 less than the other Junghans on the web site...it's really is a bargain!!
My advice is to pounce quick on these very attractive colllectables...
