Regular visitors to this site will have by now realised my passion for the Lip watch brand.
In the 1970's the company commisioned designers and artists from all over Europe to reactivate the brand and boy did they do that!
One of these was Rudy Meyer, a typography designer who came up with some of the nicest designs for the factory.
Here we have a Rudy Meyer Lip black anodised case, black dial with white numerals, automatic with date, would be described as New Old Stock but for a couple of extremely tiny handling marks from storage.
A super and very wearable piece of horological history from an important
factory.
