I sold this watch last year and now it's back here again, they really don't come round very often at all in this sort of condition and with all the bits and bobs...
Omega Chrono Quartz 1976, the first watch to have both analogue and LCD on
the same screen, the LCD is a split timer. The watch is also known as 'The
Albatross' because of its size, 50mm across. This was the official timing
watch of the Montreal Olympics of '76 and was used by FIFA for the World Cup
as well. You might actually recognise the watch from your teens (depending
on your age!!), as this was the actual shape and style of the large timing
and scoreboards in the stadium at the Olympics.
The watch is in superb condition and working perfectly and as you can see,
has boxes, original guarantee card and a copy of the instruction manual as
well- NOT TO BE MISSED!!
